Community Education
PAVE provides community education via presentations to schools, law enforcement, health care providers, businesses, community and civic groups and other such organizations. Hands for Peace for grades K-5
Topics we cover include domestic abuse, safety, and peaceful problem solving. This includes an art project. This presentation is time and content adaptable.
Healthy Relationships and Dating Smart for grades 6-12
Topics include teen dating violence, power and control tactics, equality, sexual assault laws, safety, healthy relationships, warning signs and guidelines for leaving an abusive relationship. This presentation is for middle and high school students and can be adapted to meet specific school length,content and age group.
We are available for four -6 week sessions to cover topics in detail that meet your school needs.
Workplace Sexual Harassment
We present state and federal laws, examples, what employers and employees can do, and prevention.
What Happens After a Sexual Assault
This presentation shows how primary responders work together toward a victim centered response to Sexual Assault.
Child Abuse Training
Overview of child abuse issues and prevention.
Shaken Baby Training
This training uses a simulator doll to present signs/symptoms of SBS (shaken baby syndrome) including brain injuries. Perpetrator profile, triggers and prevention are also discussed.
Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault 101
Statistics, examples and general overview about sexual assault and domestic violence.
Legal Advocacy
Discuss domestic violence laws, different types of restraining orders, steps to obtain them and the pros and cons to each.
